这是我以前写过的文章的开头和结尾. 选一个吧... 如果太多字的话, 就选几个句子就行了.
Maybe it was in first grade, when my math teacher put me in the special Saturday morning class, when I realized my inclination for the world of numbers. But it was not until a few months ago that I began to venture into the depths of the mathematical realm. I would spend entire nights trying to solve the same mind-boggling math riddles that every other one of my peers avoided at all risks. I would look up unfamiliar mathematical concepts and pick up books on math theory outside of school. Math, to me, became a unique sort of home. I saw it as a world of its own, with thought provoking obscurities around every bend. Each of these obscurities intrigued me as I found that they not only functioned alone, but were also seamlessly inter-woven into artistic masterpieces. Soon, I also realized that the mathematical world was not a separate world, disconnected to realism, but that it was the basic foundation on which the natural world is built. Another problem solved is another opened lock to the mysteries of our seemingly ordinary, but, in truth, esoteric physical existence.

Every architect knows that a house can be built only after there is complete confidence in its foundation. To me, this vital foundation is mathematics. Mathematics gives us the most basic truths that are key to understanding physics, chemistry, biology, sociology, and finally, psychology. I have underestimated the nature of mathematics all my life. Knowing this, my visibility has significantly expanded; and it is because of this expansion that I can only imagine what else I still cannot see. I can never know everything, because that conceptual infinity replaces the limits in math. Despite this, I plan to spend my lifetime trying to unlock these underlying truths in life, for my own understanding, as well as for the ultimate betterment of society and its members.
