Whether high school student should bring their cellphones to school has been discussed a lot recently. In my opinion, it is necessary for students to take their cellphone with them going to school.
First, cell phones are very essential in for high school student to get in touch with their parents. Nowadays, a lot of high school students go to school by themselves. Therefore, bringing their cellphones with them to school makes it possible for those students who live far away from school to communicate with their parents and teachers easily.
Second, some cell phone applications are quite helpful and have positive effect on students' study. For example, it takes much shorter for student to look up a new word in the e-dictionary than in the traditional dictionary. The cellphone can help make the high school students' study more fun and efficient.
All in all, I strongly suggest that high school students should take their cellphones to school.
