A terrible earthquake took place in Wenchuan on May 12th, 2008. A lot of people lost their lives and many more people were badly hurt. The earthquake destroyed many schools and houses. They are short of food and clean drinking water. What’s more, students don’t have enough textbooks or pens. We are a big family. We should show our love to them and try our best to help them. For example, we can donate our pocket money to them and provide them with some books and pens.
I believe that with our help, people in Wenchuan will be able to rebuild their houses and schools and children there can return to schools soon. Let’s do something to help them live a better life now!
