Glad hear from you!I know, it's hard too understand lots of Internet words. I'm going to explain "geili" and "shenma". "Geili" means something or someone is quite useful and available. When you need help, "Geili" represents active actions. "Shenma" means "what", because the pronounciation of "什么" and "神马" in Chinese have partial similarity.
In my opinion, these words show the divesity of Chinese culture. Some of them may informal words, but we use them in our daily life. As to you, some new words are not easy, but when you get in to our culture, I believe you can grasp the pattern of these words.
